Public Acknowledgement of Christ

Each day in the workplace we make choices to live our lives by worldly standards or by eternal standards. Those choices can be as simple as deciding not to check our personal email or twitter page on company time or as complex as refusing to "cook the books". What we don't realize is that each decision that we make reflects our acknowledgement of Christ's rule on this Earth. Our actions are perhaps more of an indication of our decision to acknowledge Christ as the ruler of our lives as our words.

Everyone who acknowledges me publicly here on earth, I will also acknowledge before my Father in heaven. But everyone who denies me here on earth, I will also deny before my Father in heaven. Matthew 10:32-33(NLT)

Lord, help me to acknowledge you in word and action today.
